Two brothers, One dream, Be Rockstars!
A dream that will soon be fulfilled by these two young brothers from Italy, Joey n’ Blaze.
When they were kids, they shared the same bedroom, as brothers do, therefore listening to the same music within the same space. Similar strong taste developed in their choice of Rock Music and their dream begun to develop whilst at the same time they started to write their own songs.
The dream, and wanting to fulfill it, became reality when Joey n’ Blaze decided to move to ‘Old Smokey’, worlds most influential music city, London. In 2003 history was made as Joey n’ Blaze wasted no time in getting a band together and start rehearsing. It took 6yrs for Joey n’ Blaze to hit out with their 1st song publicly but not as bad as, Tony Christie, who took 34yrs and 31yrs for George Harrison to hit the Top again with ‘My Sweet Lord’. Eric Clapton, The Bard, made it 30yrs on with his collaboration with Cher & Friends on the Hit ‘Love Can Build A Bridge’. The list is massive, including 6yrs for David Bowie to make No.1 with ‘Space Odyssey’, not to mention 30+ yrs for Ozzy to retun With A Little help… ‘from his daughter’.
So, Joey n’ Blaze are in fine company.
In 2009 came ”Be Strong”. Strong they were because then followed gig after gig, starting at the Bull and Gate with absolute success. Continuing in 2010 they performed at Cockpit Theatre twice (by demand) 7th & 19th May. The famous Dingwalls followed and then 02 Academy Islington.
At about this point Joey n’ Blaze changed the line up which caused a change in sound. Joey moved from keyboards to bass guitar adding a more ”Rock” driving energy to the band. Joey n’ Blaze now consist of 2 guitars, drums, bass and lead vocal. In August that year they had their first gig with the new line-up at The Comedy in Leicester Sq. A great venue. Not stopping there, in October at Famous 3 Kings and February of 2011 at The Water Rats.
Updated, full of energy and help from family and friends, Nayo from MusicPin and Attila songwriter, they manage to release the ‘tongue in cheek’ video supporting Bon Jovi.
There is no doubt that Joey n’ Blaze are on their way to fulfiling their dream as their hit ”Smile” is now released via www.LukeMusicMP3.com on the LukeP2P Network. Look out for suprising news as Joey n’ Blaze are working on their forthcoming Album, with a new 2011 re-release of ‘Smile’.
